Dr. Nisara Bandali practices full-scope optometry and provides eye care to patients of all ages. Dr Bandali attended the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelors of Medical Science degree in Medical Cell Biology from the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Bandali has experience in a multitude of optometric practice settings including the New England Eye Institute, Tufts Medical Center, Cotting School for Special Needs Children, as well as Mobile Eye Clinics.
Dr Bandali’s interests include comprehensive primary eye care and medical optometry, including urgent eye care. She also provides comprehensive dry eye therapy as well as myopia control therapies. Dr Bandali enjoys complex contact lens fittings involving scleral lenses for patients with advanced ocular surface diseases. She actively participates in vision screening programs for children at schools in lower income areas, and volunteers at community events such as the Special Olympics.
In her spare time, Dr Bandali likes playing and watching sports, exploring new cuisines and spending time with family.
